Job Description
Objectives:
- Provide support for the Subsurface & Wells Coordinator
- Maintain an efficient interface between the Technical Teams & the Regulators, in the absence of the Subsurface Coordinator
HSE OBJECTIVES
- Maintain HSEQ commitment to COMPANY Policy and Standards
- Maintain awareness of all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards
- Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes
- Participate in all HSE Committee Meetings at the Divisional level and other HSE events in JV Asset.
ACTIVITIES
- Organise periodic (annual and quarterly) and ad-hoc engagements and workshops. Coordinate the closing out of COMPANY Action Points arising from such meetings.
- Facilitate the payment of various statutory fees for permits, licenses, and approvals. Coordination with Technical
- Entities and Finance in this regard.
- Provide quality control in the preparation of dossiers for the application of permits, licenses, and approvals.
- Maintain tracking of requests for Regulatory approvals, issued approvals, and providing periodic reports.
- Tracking of utilization of issued permits and approvals. Ensuring full compliance with conditions of permits and approvals.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensures that the interface between Technical Teams and the Regulators is managed in a formal, safe, cost-effective, and
- ethical manner.
- Diligently monitor the process of payment for statutory fees related to the procurement of Permits.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- A good University degree, preferably in engineering or any other technical field.
- Between 5 to 10 years’ experience in O&G with practical knowledge of the PIA and NUPRC Regulations and Guidelines.
- Working knowledge of computer applications and methods.
- Fluent in the English language – written & spoken.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
