Job Brief:

• Brave Achievers is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering talented individuals. Through our initiative, YouCreate Africa, we provide a platform to empower African professionals. We are seeking volunteer trainers for our annual free bootcamp. Over the years, we have trained over 200 Africans in Product Design and UX Research, Agile Project Management, and Technical Writing (Fully sponsored). We have expanded our curriculum to include generative AI, and we need skilled trainers to join us in making a difference.


• We are looking for experts in Product Design and UX Research, Technical Writing, and Agile Project Management who can work remotely from anywhere in Africa. Our trainers should be proficient in using generative AI tools to enhance their teaching and help students integrate AI into their work.

If you have significant expertise in any of these fields and experience training people, this is a fantastic opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Virtual Training: Conduct classes virtually using tools like Zoom and Discord.


• Daily Sessions: Train bootcamp participants for two hours per day over a minimum of 7 weeks.


• Assessment: Test participants’ understanding through regular evaluations.


• Feedback: Score tests and award badges based on performance.


• Mentorship: Assist participants in understanding their courses and supervise their Capstone projects.

Skills Required:

• Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Design and UX Research, Technical Writing, or Agile Project Management.


• Training Experience: Prior experience in training or teaching is an added advantage.


• Residency: Must be a resident of Africa.


• Education: Must be a graduate.


• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English.


• Time Commitment: Available for 2 hours per day for a minimum of 7 weeks.

Technical Skills:

• Product Designers: Proficiency in Figma, FigJam, and generative AI tools.


• Project Managers: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Jira, Scrum, and other project management tools and methodologies.


• Technical Writers: Expertise in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation.
