Job Description
Responsibilities
- Undertake driving assignments and provide these services safely and efficiently.
- Responsible for the organization & passengers' property while driving.
- Maintain & clean assigned vehicles with care and report any damage to the Transport Officer/Administrative Officer.
- Report the mileage to the Admin Officer periodically.
- Responsible for assigned vehicle and its tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Record transport logbook for assigned vehicles every day.
- Conduct a regular, thorough inspection of the vehicle before use.
- Carry out minor vehicle repairs like tire and bulb changes.
- In case of facing or being involved in a traffic accident, report immediately to supervisors and police.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Knowledge of Lagos road networks.
Education Background and Experience
- Candidates should possess a WAEC / GCE or OND
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- Third-grade license or any equivalent license that can allow one to drive station wagon/medium-sized trucks
Competence:
- English Proficiency: WAEC (Intermediate)
- Ability to read, understand, and adhere to government and organization rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs.
