Job Roles

The head of Legal will be responsible for:

• Coordinating activities of the company’s Legal Department;


• Developing and implementing of legal initiatives and systems,


• Following up with the company’s compliance with regulatory laws, expatriate quota, expatriate recruitment, visa processing, etc;


• Drafting contracts between the company and contractors; and


• Representing the company at designated court proceedings that may arise.

Requirements

• Experience: 7-10 years previous experience as a Head of Legal in a corporate organization


• Minimum Educational Qualification: Minimum of a First Degree in Law. Must be a Member of The Nigerian Bar Association

Skills and Competency:

• Proficient computer skills including the ability to prepare spread sheets; knowledge of legal software is a plus;


• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, demanding environment;


• Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment;


• Detailed and versed understanding of corporate laws;


• Excellent communication skills;


• Informed decision making/sound judgement and excellent professional disposition; etc.

Salary Offer

N300,000 - N350,000 / month.
