- Crafting and serving a wide range of cocktails, from classic recipes to innovative, custom creations tailored to individual customer preferences.
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, and bar tools, to ensure the bar is well-stocked and able to meet demand.
- Designing and updating the cocktail menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current trends to keep the offerings fresh and exciting.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies to ensure a safe and appealing environment.
- Engaging with customers, providing recommendations, and sharing knowledge about the history and nuances of various spirits and cocktails to enhance their experience.
- Handling cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate billing, and managing tips in accordance with company policies.
- Training and mentoring junior bar staff in mixology techniques, customer service, and bar management practices to maintain high standards of service.
- Participating in and representing the establishment at cocktail competitions and industry events to showcase skills and promote the venue.
Requirements
- Alcohol awareness and knowledge of responsible service
- Minimum of 2 year experience in the same position from a reputable restaurant
- You must be proactive, adaptable team player who enjoys taking initiative to drive for results
- Eager to learn & progress, responsible with the willingness to take ownership
- To ensure proper mixing, blending, of drinks
- Education in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field can be beneficial.
