Job Description



  • The driver will provide safe transport services for LinkOrg Networks program and support staff in the described AOR (Area of Responsibility).

  • The driver will adhere to all traffic and LinkOrg Networks safety rules and follow the transport guidelines required by the organization.

  • Preferred location would be Island axis and Mainland preferably; Ogba, Ikorodu, Fagba, Ikeja axis.


Responsibilities



  • Operate LinkOrg Networks vehicles as assigned by supervisor.

  • Maintain vehicle log-sheets in accordance with LinkOrg Networks policies/regulations.

  • Check the vehicle conditions after each trip/routinely – report needs and problems to the Head Driver.

  • Adhere to all safety and communication protocols as advised by LinkOrg Networks and supervisor.

  • Responsible for the safekeeping of all vehicle equipment, tools, first aid kits, spares etc.

  • Keep the vehicle ready, clean and on standby – ready for use at all times.

  • Assist, as required, with logistics in the office.

  • Cooperate and be of assistance to staff and visitors – assist in troubleshooting potential problems during daily business.

  • Report all maintenance needs of the vehicle to the Head Driver within the office on a regular basis.

  • Undertake field assignments as assigned.

  • Adherence to all LinkOrg Networks policies and procedures as outlined in the policies and procedure manuals.

  • Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to LinkOrg Networks.


Requirements



  • Candidates should have an FSLC, SSCE, OND, or NCE qualification.

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a driver is required.

  • Proficiency in driving both automatic and manual vehicles.

  • A valid driver's license and Lasdri certification are mandatory.

  • Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations.

  • Good knowledge of Lagos Island and Mainland routes.

  • Ability to use maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Punctual and reliable.
