Department: Business Development and Commercial Services


Reports to: Sales Director


Role Summary:


Maximize company sales by setting and pushing realistic expectations to grow revenue.


Key Performance Indicators:



  • Number of deals closed with active support.

  • Number of product training sessions for team members.

  • Number of presentation/negotiation skills training sessions.

  • Number of agents hired and their sales performance.

  • Conversion rate of leads to actual sales.

  • Implementation of effective sales strategies.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute sales plans to boost company revenue.

  • Drive team activities to meet sales targets.

  • Coordinate product sales, development, and new product launches.

  • Scout for prospects, assign salespersons, and develop marketing plans.

  • Train, manage, and advise salespeople.

  • Collaborate with HR on recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

  • Conduct market research and analyze sales data.

  • Provide after-sales support and organize sales strategy meetings.


People Management:



  • Manage the sales team, recruit talent, and provide training to enhance productivity and profitability.


Relationship Management:



  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall sales.


Self-Management:



  • Thrive in a collaborative environment with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

  • Pursue personal development through seminars, workshops, and online training.

Qualifications:



  • University degree in any field; a Master's degree is a strong added advantage.

  • Completed NYSC.

  • Certification in Sales or Business Administration is an advantage.

  • Over 9 years of sales experience with a proven track record. Previous experience in Insurance sales, luxurious car sales, High-end Luxury and having sold to high portfolio clients and having access to high portfolio clients is PREFERRED.
