Role Description

• This is a hybrid role for a Senior Data Engineer.


• As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with data engineering, including data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load), data warehousing, and data analytics.


• This role is primarily located in Lagos with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and ETL (Extract Transform Load) skills


• Experience working with SSIS is very important


• At least 5years experience is needed


• Data Warehousing and Data Analytics skills


• Experience in working with large-scale data infrastructure and pipelines


• Strong programming and scripting skills, such as Python, SQL, and Shell scripting


• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP


• Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka


• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and data quality best practices


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
