Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management:



  • Develop detailed project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timeline specific to the projects given.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.

  • Ensure that all projects, including product launches, promotional campaigns, process improvements, and other projects assigned are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

  • Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.


Operations Management:



  • Optimize manufacturing and distribution processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maintain high standards of production and supply chain management.

  • Oversee the supply chain and inventory management to ensure timely production and delivery.

  • Monitor operational performance metrics and KPIs, implementing improvements as needed.

  • Address and resolve any operational issues to ensure smooth project execution.


Sales and Marketing Management:



  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.

  • Assist in the creation of compelling sales presentations and proposals for new and existing clients.

  • Monitor sales performance, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.

  • Foster relationships with key clients and stakeholders to support sales efforts and expand market reach.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.



  • Manage marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand values and compliance with industry regulations.


Stakeholder Management:



  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency.

  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates, ensuring alignment with company objectives.


Financial Management:



  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial goals.

  • Track project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

  • Provide project financial reports and status updates to senior management.


Team Leadership:



  • Lead, mentor, and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, providing feedback and development opportunities for team members.

  • Ensure that team members have the necessary resources and support to succeed in their roles for every project assigned.


Skills and Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Development Studies, or a similar degree.

  • Proven years of experience in project management, particularly in the field of youth employment and entrepreneurship programs, either as lead manager or support staff.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing budgets, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead a diverse group of stakeholders

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in project management software and techniques.

  • Understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles to assess project impact

  • Enthusiastic about collaborating with partners to address youth unemployment challenges in Nigeria.

  • Management of similar projects in the past, focusing on skills development, job creation, and youth empowerment is an advantage.

  • PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage
