Job Description:

Mechanic on the Go is seeking a motivated and responsible Beginner Workshop Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of our automotive workshop. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to grow their managerial skills in the automotive industry while being a key part of a dynamic and dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.


• Coordinate and schedule work for mechanics, ensuring optimal productivity and resource utilization.


• Oversee the maintenance and organization of the workshop, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment.


• Handle customer inquiries and concerns, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.


• Assist in the training and development of workshop staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.


• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and maintain accurate records of parts and materials.


• Implement and enforce safety protocols and workshop procedures.


• Prepare and manage work orders, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of automotive mechanics and workshop operations.


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.


• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward addressing challenges.


• Basic computer skills for managing inventory, work orders, and communication.

Qualifications:

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive management or a related field is a plus.


• Previous experience in a workshop or automotive environment is beneficial but not required.


• Demonstrated leadership potential and a desire to develop management skills.
