PURPOSE OF THE JOB


Responsible for managing goods in the warehouse at all stages, from the time of receiving goods into the warehouse, to preserving, storing, and finally moving goods out of the warehouse. This includes ensuring the quality and quantity requirements of the goods are met.


THE JOB



  • Receive all incoming stock and materials, tag and label items appropriately for identification and tracking.

  • Keep detailed and precise records of all stock received and issued.

  • Update inventory systems to reflect current stock levels and movements.

  • Track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.

  • Ensure all stock items are stored safely and securely.

  • Maintain proper documentation for all stock movements and transactions.

  • Collaborate with various departments to understand and fulfill their stock requirements.

  • Prepare and issue stock as per departmental requests and maintain proper issuance records.

  • Perform regular and systematic stock counts and audits.

  • Reconcile physical stock with system records to identify and resolve discrepancies.


THE PERSON MUST



  • Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Be numerate and possess analytical skills.

  • Be Detail-oriented and result driven

  • High inventory control skill and data entry abilities.

  • IT and numerical skills, particularly in MS Excel & PowerPoint.


QUALIFICATION



  • OND in a relevant field

  • Membership of CIPS is an added advantage.


EXPERIENCE


2 years of experience in similar role.
