Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints to program and operate CNC machines for precision cutting.


• Work closely with designers and engineers to ensurepieces are produced according to specifications and design intent.


• Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machines, ensuring they run efficiently and produce high-quality output.


• Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments, and perform quality checks to maintain production standards.


• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure they remain in optimal working condition and troubleshoot any issues that arise.


• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.


• Understand the properties and best uses of various furniture materials to ensure optimal machine settings and production techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.


• 2 - 4 years relevant work experience.


• Proven experience operating CNC machines in a furniture manufacturing or similar setting.


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, and experience with CAD/CAM software.


• Strong attention to detail and precision in work to ensure the accurate production of furniture components.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


• Knowledge of furniture construction materials and processes is a plus.
