  • As Quality Control / Procurement Supervisor, your role involves implementing stringent quality control measures and managing supplier relationships.

  • The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the fashion industry.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure products meet specified standards.

  • Inspect incoming materials and finished products to meet quality and safety standards.

  • Conduct regular audits of production processes and provide feedback to improve quality.

  • Address and resolve any quality issues or defects promptly.

  • Prepare, maintain and present detailed records/reports of quality inspections, tests, and audits on quality control and procurement activities to senior management.

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the General Manager to ensure adequate stock.

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices.

  • Collaborate with the production team to understand and meet quality and procurement requirements.

  • Communicate quality control standards and procedures to all relevant departments.

  • Provide training and support to staff on quality control processes and standards.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control and procurement practices.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.


Person Specification



  • B.Sc in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in quality control and procurement, preferably in the fashion industry.

  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with inventory management software.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
