Job Description



We are looking to hire an Accountant/Inventory Manager for our client, a supermarket located at Lekki, Lagos. 


Responsibilities:



  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections

  • Prepare financial statements and other financial reports as required

  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

  • ⁠Take inventory of supplies

  • ⁠Carry out other duties as assigned. 


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting. 

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
