Job Description
We are looking to hire an Accountant/Inventory Manager for our client, a supermarket located at Lekki, Lagos.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
- Prepare financial statements and other financial reports as required
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Take inventory of supplies
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
