About the Job



  • To manage and implement HR services, policies, and programs for our Fertilizer Plant sub-division.

  • The role focuses on fostering a high-performance culture, emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, and goal attainment, while promoting a sustainable succession plan.


Duties & Responsibilities



  • Implement HR programs aligning with company strategy.

  • Enforce disciplinary policies and manage grievances.

  • Develop and monitor the HR budget.

  • Assist in developing and documenting HR policies.

  • Communicate HR policies with Plant Management.

  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and forecasts.

  • Advise on HR needs and track goal progress.

  • Align workforce with company goals through programs and guidelines.

  • Manage expatriate HR issues.

  • Conduct manpower planning and manage recruitment.


Requirements



  • B.Sc or HND

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Manufacturing experience will be an added advantage

  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and negotiating skills

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and technical report writing skills

  • High integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence

  • Excellent employee and industrial relations skills

  • Knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations, risk management, HSE practices, and benefits administration

  • Licensed to practice HR in Nigeria by CIPMN; membership in additional HR bodies is a plus

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite

  • Proficiency in ERP.
