Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draft Engineer to join our dynamic team.


• As an Electrical Draft Engineer, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for electrical systems based on specifications and sketches provided by engineers and architects.


• Your attention to detail and proficiency in CAD software will be critical in ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and other technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.).


• Interpret and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and sketches to ensure accuracy in drafting.


• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate technical details into drawings.


• Review and modify designs to correct operating deficiencies and address client feedback.


• Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines in all drafted designs.


• Assist in preparing documentation packages for projects, including bills of materials, equipment lists, and project reports.


• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering products or projects.


• Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.


• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.

Requirements

• OND / HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.


• Proven experience as an Electrical Draft Engineer or similar role.


• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.) and other drafting tools.


• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and materials.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.


• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical design and drafting.
