Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with significant experience in Construction site, LV panels and control systems.


• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, with hands-on expertise in coordinating, designing, assembling, and testing electrical projects.


• This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in electrical CAD software, and a thorough understanding of relevant safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy electrical control systems based on project requirements and specifications.


• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.


• Create detailed panel layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics using CAD software.


• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.


• Provide Electrical Engineering technical assistance to the site on such organizations as the Fire Protection Agency, Electrical Codes and other best engineering practices in General.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, electrical technicians, and clients to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.


• Supervising or training project team members.


• Preparation of drawings for plant general arrangements, power single line diagrams, P&IDs, control system architecture drawings, and instrument and I/O


• Production of documentation, including user requirement specifications/control philosophies, tender documentation (including particular electrical and ICA specifications), schedules of prices and engineer’s estimate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.


• Proven experience in designing and supervising electrical projects.


• Proficiency with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.


• Excellent understanding of a range of electrical distribution and LV systems.


• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.


• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.


• Strong interpersonal and managerial skills.


• The ability to stay up to date with the latest developments in electrical systems and best practices
