  • We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality day-old chicks to various customers, including farmers, distributors, and retailers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the poultry industry, and a passion for customer service.


Key Responsibilities

Sales and Marketing:



  • Promote and sell day-old chicks to prospective and existing customers.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and trends in the poultry industry.

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional activities to showcase products and generate leads.


Customer Relationship Management:



  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively.

  • Educate customers on the benefits and features of our day-old chicks, including proper handling and care.


Account Management:



  • Manage and grow assigned customer accounts by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions to the sales manager.

  • Ensure timely delivery of products and follow-up on after-sales services.


Administrative Duties:



  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software.

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the sales manager.

  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payment processing and account reconciliation.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.

  • 2- 5 years proven experience in sales, preferably in the poultry or agricultural industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the poultry industry, specifically in the breeding and sales of day-old chicks.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
