Our client is looking to hire an experienced candidate who will manage her Modern Trade customer accounts.
Responsibilities
Ensure products are listed, available and well displayed at all modern trade stores in your territory
Ensure products are well displayed and visible at key areas in all relevant outlets
Track stock levels and ensure daily/weekly coverage of all stores in your territory
Create and implement long term growth strategies with the modern trade customers
Act as a main contact for existing and new customers
Develop route plans for proper daily coverage of all outlets by self, sales reps and merchandisers
Developing productive long-term relationships with customers
Create and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on the progress of modern trade accounts: sales, visibility, availability, competition activity etc
Reaching sales targets across all customers
Implementing a sales strategy across the assigned territory
Monitor competition activity
Closely cooperating with other departments involved with your accounts
Develop in-store visibility plans and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation
Initiate & develop annual marketing/promotion plans across all outlets in the territory.
Requirements
Degree in Marketing or relevant course
5 years’ experience in FMCG Sales
3 years’ experience in Modern Trade Sales
Sales history in soap or body care is a plus
Track record of working relationships with top retailers in Lagos
Detail oriented with the ability to generate and analyse reports
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-management skills
Proven team management and people-management skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, Word
Sales and goal-oriented personality
Self-driven and accountable
Ability to take initiative and track progress of achievement
