Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective Economics lessons.


• Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements and cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.


• Use a variety of teaching methodologies and modern educational tools to enhance learning.


• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.


• Prepare students for internal and external examinations in Economics.


• Maintain accurate records of student progress and report on this to stakeholders.


• Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.


• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Degree in Economics or a related field.


• Proven experience in teaching Economics at the secondary school level.


• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
