Key Responsibilities

• Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.


• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and ensure it meets national standards.


• Assessment: Evaluate student performance through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.


• Support: Offer additional support to students through one-on-one tutoring, extracurricular activities, and exam preparation.


• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.


• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest educational practices and language teaching methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant degree in French or a related field.


• Proven experience teaching French at the secondary level.


• Strong knowledge of the French curriculum and GCSE requirements.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
