Key Responsibilities

• Teaching: Plan and deliver stimulating biology lessons to students in [Key Stages/Year Groups], adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.


• Curriculum Development: Develop, review, and enhance the biology curriculum in alignment with national standards, ensuring it reflects current scientific advancements and best practices.


• Assessment: Evaluate and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and preparing students for internal and external examinations.


• Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering student engagement and maintaining classroom discipline.


• Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to departmental and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Biology or a related field.


• Experience: Previous experience teaching biology at the secondary school level is preferred. Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.


• Skills: Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
