Key Responsibilities

• Teaching: Deliver engaging and comprehensive chemistry lessons to students across [Key Stages/Year Groups], ensuring all students have the opportunity to achieve their best.


• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that reflects best practices in chemistry education and aligns with national standards.


• Assessment: Monitor, assess, and provide feedback on student progress, preparing students for internal and external examinations.


• Classroom Management: Create a positive learning environment that fosters respect, encourages collaboration, and supports student welfare.


• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and contribute to departmental meetings and school events.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.


• Experience: Previous experience teaching chemistry at the secondary school level is preferred but not essential.


• Skills: Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching. Ability to use innovative teaching methods and integrate technology into the classroom.
