The ideal candidates for this position should have experience in Market Development and Leadership.
The candidate will be pivotal in driving investment generation, fostering client relationships, closing on deals and implementing strategic marketing initiatives.
This individual will develop and execute business location/relocation strategies, manage marketing campaigns, and collaborate with internal and external marketing companies to drive investment and business location/relocation to a Greenfield New City, with growth sectors in Manufacturing, Logistics, Healthcare, Entertainment, Education, Innovation and Technology Hub, Commercial, Lifestyle Residential and Aviation. A licensed Free Trade Zone.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive clear plan for lead pipelines for local manufacturing/investment companies and FDIs to locate/relocate in the new city.
Develop leads database from the identified pipelines according to industries and businesses.
Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads, manage the leads, retain the leads, close on the leads and maximize referral businesses from the closed leads.
Manage generated leads with technology backing, custom-built Customer
Relations Management (CRM) software such as ZOHO and Close.
Undertake investor outreach, roadshows and target data developments.
Champion digital channels to generate leads, opportunities and registrations to align with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Utilize various marketing channels, including digital platforms, print media, and networking events, to promote the new city and its offerings.
Drive website footfalls via Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search
Engine Marketing (SEM) operations.
Create a market research and development process to capture data, performance and evaluation.
Follow up on leads generated by internal marketing consultants in Nigeria and FDI consultants spread across India, China, Indonesia etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Business Administration or a related field (Master's degree will be an added advantage with strong technology bias, proficiency in Excel and data science/management)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in market development and leadership
