Job Description



Job Purpose



  • We need a Strategy Execution Executive, with a focus on Client Acquisition. This individual will be focused on identifying opportunities in Abuja and the North, and drive large-ticket business acquisition for the Group.

  • This role is crucial in expanding our client base across our Six (6) Businesses including Securities Trading, Asset Management, Insurance Brokerage, Trustees, Registrars, and Investment Banking.


Responsibilities



  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers and business opportunities.

  • Identify and develop new business prospects through networking, market research, and industry events.

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.

  • Initiate and establish contact with potential clients to introduce Cordros’s services.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.

  • Coordinate initial meetings between potential clients and Cordros’s relationship managers.

  • Ensure a seamless handover of potential clients to the relationship management team for further engagement.

  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand Cordros’s client base.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development activities with organizational goals.

  • Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to represent Cordros and build professional relationships.

  • Leverage personal and professional networks to identify business opportunities.

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, potential client interactions, and market insights.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Head, Research and Strategy.


Job Requirements

Educational Qualification:



  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

  • A Second Degree and/or Completion of Relevant Professional Certification will be an added advantage.


Experience:



  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the financial services sector.

  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities.


Key Knowledge and Skills:

The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:




  • Financial services industry, including Securities Trading, Asset Management, Insurance Brokerage, Trustees, Registrars, and Investment Banking.




The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:



  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and implement effective business development strategies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills to analyze market trends and data to inform business decisions.

  • Effective negotiation skills to secure new business deals.

Work Cycle: Hours/Days the incumbent is required to work



  • Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)

  • A flexible working schedule is also available i.e remote work
