Responsibilities



  • Create high quality marketing and communications content from concept through delivery that promote GIGM’s brand, Mission and Vision priorities

  • Develop engaging multi-channel content to support impactful campaigns. 

  • Be an effective team player who will be in the weeds of priority projects to ensure successful activation through careful project planning, execution, and monitoring

  • Establish best practices for marketing program execution, including defining project scopes, outlining deliverables, timelines, and execution efforts

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to identify new and promising opportunities to drive greater supporter engagement within propriety projects

  • Devise and execute marketing campaigns to drive/improve quantifiable business metrics through innovative and pace-setting initiatives and ideas. These metrics include consumer demand (sales), customer satisfaction, brand strength

  • Manage the administration of the company’s website and all social media pages, ensuring correctness and brand consistency of information thereon.

  • Respond to inquiries and attend to press releases with management approval.

  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for effective brand value enhancement.

  • Work with other team members to develop, organise and manage company events, including KSS (Knowledge Sharing Session), TGIF (Thank God Its Friday), periodic employee bonding programmes, CSR initiatives etc.

  • Translate company business objectives into creative and executable corporate communications strategies and programmes.

  • Work with the Admin team to produce company-branded collaterals and corporate gift items, including identification and negotiation with relevant vendors, suppliers, stakeholders, and business partners.

  • Demonstrate strong judgment in understanding key trends and news elements to develop a successful PR programme with proactive and responsive media relations activities.

  • Work with the Sales team to develop and implement marketing strategies and programmes to promote the branding as well as products and services of the company.

  • Maintain a rigorous and consistent approach to branding, messaging, content, quality, and general look and feel throughout communications and external messaging (touchpoints).


Requirements:



  • Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience working in Corporate & Marketing communications role

  • BSc/ HND from an accredited Tertiary Institution

  • Post Graduate/ Professional qualification will be an added advantage

  • Proven success designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns

  • Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines

  • Must be able to think analytically and strategically

  • Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently

  • Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines

  • Familiarity or experience working with CRM software is an asset

  • Proven strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Knowledge and understanding of communications practices, tools, and techniques in social media.

  • Proactivity, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Creativity in developing relevant marketing content

  • Highly developed project and time management skills
