PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To preserve the machine and ensure maximum availability for production at optimal cost.

THE JOB

• Carry out maintenance (routine or breakdown) on all machinery in the bottling plant


• Regular inspection, proper cleanness & lubrication of machineries


• Report any unsafe condition noticed in the workplace


• Ensure availability of spare parts needed during maintenance


• Schedule routine maintenance to ensure productivity in the plant


• Keep records, reports, and graphs of all breakdowns and activities of  machineries


• Achieve low cost of production with high-quality products


• Understand the company’s food safety policy, its objective, and the benefits of an improved food safety management system.


• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.


• Be aware of identified food safety risks, opportunities, and consequences inherent in the departmental/work processes concerning FSMS requirements and where applicable;


• Report problems concerning the food safety management system to the food safety Team/Leader or any other person specified via appropriate identification within the factory.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


• Pay attention to details.

QUALIFICATION

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.


• Trade test.

EXPERIENCE

2 years’ cognate experience.
