PURPOSE OF THE JOB


To provide high-level executive support thereby ensuring the smooth running of the GM’s office


THE JOB



  • Act as the primary point of contact for the General Manager, managing their calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.

  • Prepare and arrange documents, reports, and presentations for the General Manager with precision and attention to detail.

  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of meetings, including taking minutes, tracking action items, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Anticipate the needs of the General Manager and proactively take action to support their objectives and priorities.

  • Conduct research and compile data to support the General Manager in decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Prepare daily summary reports to the understanding and template of the General Manager

  • Ensure the safety of self and others in the line of work

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.


THE PERSON MUST



  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Pay attention to details and possess a good time management skill.


QUALIFICATION



  • BSc/HND in Engineering/Business discipline.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.


EXPERIENCE



  • 2 years’ cognate experience.
