Requirements

• Build, Lead and manage a team of underwriters


• Place policies on strong terms, conditions and memos.


• Hard Negotiations on rates and Coverages


• Review and analyze complex insurance proposals.


• Set underwriting guidelines and standards for property and casualty insurance


• Negotiate risks based on insureds criteria


• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and Underwriters


• Conduct / Co-ordinate risk assessments and site visits as needed


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes

Job Title: Lead Underwriter (Marine - Hull & Cargo):

Requirements

• Specialize in marine insurance, focusing on hull and cargo risks


• Build, Lead and manage a team of marine underwriters


• Analyze and assess complex marine insurance risks


• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and Underwriters.


• Conduct/ Co-ordinate risk assessments and site visits at ports, docks, or other marine locations


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, maritime laws, and regulatory changes


• Negotiate on Rates and terms.


• Develop wide Policy terms and conditions.
