We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Registrar in Radiology to join our team. The Senior Registrar will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services, supervising junior radiology staff, and contributing to the academic and clinical development of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and interventional radiology.
Supervise and mentor junior radiology staff, including registrars and interns.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide radiological input for patient management.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Conduct and participate in clinical audits, research projects, and quality improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
Participate in teaching and training programs for medical students, junior doctors, and radiology trainees.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical care.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Registration with the relevant medical board or council.
Completion of specialty training and fellowship in Radiology.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Registrar in a radiology department.
Demonstrated clinical competence and expertise in diagnostic and interventional radiology.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
