Job Summary
The Admin Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Oversee daily office operations, including managing supplies, inventories, to ensure a well-organized and efficient workspace.
- Provide administrative assistance such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases. Ensure all documentation is properly stored and easily accessible.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external communications, managing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate parties.
- Assist in planning and organizing company events, meetings, and conferences, including logistics, catering, and travel arrangements.
- Support the HR department with onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with employee inquiries.
- Assist with basic financial tasks such as preparing purchase order, processing invoices, expense reports, and budget tracking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or closely related field from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Not more than 2 years of experience in an administrative or office management role.
- Minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2:1) or equivalent GPA.
- Must have completed NYSC as at the time of application
