Our client is a leading and professional real estate company in Nigeria, who helps discover investment opportunities with amazing returns. Whether for residential or commercial properties, they offer some of the best options on the market. Due to expansion, they currently need an HSE Analyst.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies and Procedures: Collaborate with management to develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures specific to construction sites. Ensure adherence to local regulations and industry standards.

  • Conduct Site Inspections and Risk Assessments: Regularly inspect construction sites to identify potential hazards and assess risks. Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate identified risks.

  • Provide Safety Training and Education: Develop and deliver safety training programs for construction workers, supervisors, and management. Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and other educational sessions to promote awareness and compliance with safety protocols.

  • Monitor Compliance and Incident Investigation: Monitor compliance with safety policies and procedures on construction sites. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Maintain Safety Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions.

  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate safety performance and recommendations to management.

  • Develop and implement emergency response procedures for construction sites.

  • Coordinate drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency response plans.

  • Promote a Safety Culture. Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability among construction personnel.

  • Encourage active participation in safety initiatives and programs.


Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • 4-6 years of similar experience, preferably in a similar role Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) preferred.

  • Previous experience in construction safety management or related field. Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to promoting a safe working environment.

  • Ability to identify Hazard and prevention measures.
