Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven CaaS (Cooling as a Service) Business Development Regional Manager to join their team and drive business development initiatives in the renewable energy sector in the northern region.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive the adoption of our CaaS solutions within the renewable energy sector in Nigeria.
Meet and exceed sales targets for MSMEs and SMEs.
Identify and prioritize target customers, markets, and growth opportunities, leveraging market research, industry knowledge, and customer insights.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, energy developers, utilities, and other industry partners, to promote our CaaS offerings and generate new business opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop customized solutions and value propositions tailored to the needs of target customers.
Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and business objectives.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand, network with potential customers, and stay informed about industry developments.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the renewable energy and containerization industries, incorporating insights into business development strategies and plans.
Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on sales performance, market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Sales and business development skills
4-5 years of proven experience in sales management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Strong knowledge of power system products is an advantage
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong networking and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
