Job Description
Duties / Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support company objectives and align with overall business goals.
- Procurement and Sourcing: Manage procurement activities and vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, products, and services.
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring adequate supply to meet customer demand.
- Logistics and Distribution: Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
- Supplier Management: Evaluate and select suppliers
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a supply chain manager or supervisor with a manufacturing company
- Other supply chain or logistics certifications will be an added advantage
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
