Job Description



  • We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chemistry teacher to join our team of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching chemistry to students at the high school level, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.


Responsibilities



  • Teach chemistry classes to students at the secondary school level

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards

  • Assess student progress and provide feedback

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress

  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

  • Supervise students during lab activities and ensure safety protocols are followed

  • Develop and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment


Requirements

Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field

  • Teaching Certification in Chemistry or related field.


Experience:



  • 2+ years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting

  • Experience teaching chemistry to students at the secondary school level

  • Experience developing and implementing curriculum


Skills:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field

  • Teaching certification in Chemistry or related field

  • Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts and principles

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

  • Familiarity with technology and educational software
