Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Accounting & Assurance at Regiis Maestro Consulting located in Lagos.
- The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing accounting and assurance unit, including accounting services, assets enumeration & certification, statutory audit, due diligence, reporting accountant forensic audit & investigation, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAN is compulsory
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a recognized consulting firm
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and auditing techniques
- Experience managing financial audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and risk assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team, and work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative environments
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
