Job Description

• The Fundraising Consultant will provide valuable support to the Resource Mobilisation and Innovation Team by assisting in fundraising services across community and child sponsorship initiatives, and institutional partnership for AAN.


• S/he will additionally, have percentage time effort to assist AAN’s downstream partners in their fundraising efforts.

Person Specification

Education / Qualifications:

• First degree in relevant studies is essential.

Experience:

• At least two (2) years’ experience in a fundraising role is essential.

Skills / Abilities:

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft tools (MS Office Word, Excel etc.).


• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills


• Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving abilities.


• Comfortable approaching and engaging with people in public settings.


• Strong commitment to ethical fundraising practices.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Reliable and responsible with a strong sense of accountability.


• Previous resource mobilisation experience is a plus but not mandatory.
