- We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting and Administrative Officer to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills for clerical duties, manage procurement processes, and ensure efficient financial operations within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Maintain office supplies and inventory; reorder as needed.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
Procurement Duties:
- Oversee the procurement process, includingobtaining quotesand negotiating contracts.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
