  1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting:



    • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

    • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

    • Evaluate and negotiate costs of materials, labor, and other project expenses.




  2. Tendering and Procurement:



    • Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.

    • Review and evaluate tender submissions from contractors and suppliers.

    • Assist in the selection and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.




  3. Contract Management:



    • Draft and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations.

    • Monitor and report on contract progress, including any variations or deviations from the original contract.

    • Negotiate and resolve any contractual disputes.




  4. Cost Control and Reporting:



    • Monitor project expenditures and ensure they are kept within the budget.

    • Prepare and present regular financial reports and cost analyses.

    • Conduct cost assessments and manage cost variations during the project lifecycle.




  5. Valuation and Payments:



    • Prepare valuations for interim payments and final accounts.

    • Assess and certify contractor and subcontractor payments.

    • Conduct site visits to verify work progress and measure quantities.




  6. Risk Management:



    • Identify potential financial and contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.




  7. Collaboration and Communication:



    • Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

    • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers to maintain positive working relationships.

    • Attend project meetings and provide input on cost and contractual matters.
