The position duties manages the network and server infrastructure of a company. The primary duties are the security of the company’s computer systems and electronic data, development and implementation of customized systems and overseeing all computer-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to employees for software, hardware, and network issues.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
Maintain a helpdesk system and ensure timely resolution of IT-related issues.
Manage and maintain servers, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and ensure smooth operation.
Implement and manage network security measures.
Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
Ensure all hardware and software comply with company standards.
Implement and manage data protection and privacy policies.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Manage IT projects from conception through to completion.
IT procurement for Nigeria (request verification/Quote collection/approval process/ Purchase
Remote Support for the outstation users.
Support and technical advice for the new IT requirements and software requirements
vender follow ups - IT related
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT support or system administration role.
Certifications: Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macros).
Experience with network administration and cybersecurity practices.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies is a plus.
