Job Description

• We seek a highly qualifiedand experienced Technical Drawing Teacher to join our faculty.


• As a Technical Drawing Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students the principles and techniques of technical drawing, including sketching, drafting, and design.


• You will also be expected to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide individualized support to students.

Responsibilities

• Teach technical drawing courses to students in secondary school


• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners


• Assess student progress and provide feedback on their work


• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation


• Develop and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes


• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in technical drawing education


• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Drawing, Basic Technology, or a related field


• Teaching/Education certification

Experience:

• At least 2 years of teaching experience in technical drawing or a related field


• Experience with curriculum development and implementation


• Experience with assessment and evaluation of student progress

Other Requirements:

• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technical drawing tools
