Job Description
The jobholder will be in charge of the first contact with our patients and making sure that they enjoy an excellent patients experience during their visits to the hospital. He or she will be expected to possess sound knowledge of the hospital's services.
- As a result, he or she will be expected to respond appropriately to all the questions patients at the Front Office may have.
- Handling patients' complaints, enquiries, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient data and condition to safeguard health information.
- Assists patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms to provide healthcare facilities with essential information to bill for services.
- Applies administrative knowledge and courtesy to explain procedures and services to patients.
- Facilitates communication between patients and various departments and staff.
Other Key Accountabilities:
- Welcoming all patients with a warm smile.
- Follow up of patients’ experience.
- Providing an impeccable service to patients in order to retain them.
- Answering questions, suggestions, remarks from patients.
- Receiving and dealing with patients claims
Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
- Must be Degree-qualified in any discipline
- Must have completed NYSC
- One (1) year of relevant experience would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Good interpersonal-relationship skills
- Decision making skills
- Must be able to use the MS Office applications - MS Word & MS Excel.
