Position Overview



  • We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Mende, Maryland.

  • The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and offering professional advice on the safe use of medications.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.


Responsibilities

Medication Dispensing:



  • Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications.

  • Ensure all medications are stored and handled according to pharmacy regulations.


Patient Care:



  • Provide counseling and advice to patients on the use of medications.

  • Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications and their use.

  • Monitor patient drug therapies and provide clinical interventions as needed.


Pharmacy Operations:



  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary medications.

  • Conduct regular inventory checks and place orders for pharmaceuticals.


Regulatory Compliance:



  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.

  • Maintain all necessary pharmacy documentation and records.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.


Collaboration:



  • Work closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

  • Communicate effectively with other pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations.

  • Participate in pharmacy staff meetings and contribute to the improvement of pharmacy services.


Education and Training:



  • Stay updated on new medications and advancements in pharmacy practice.

  • Provide training and mentorship to pharmacy interns and junior staff.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharmacologist

  • Must have a valid pharmacy license.

  • Proven experience working as a Pharmacist.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
