JOB OBJECTIVES



  • HR Operations Lead plays a critical role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.

  • You will collaborate with the HR team to ensure the smooth and effective operation of HR processes.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

  • Coordinating the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs, including leave management, salary reviews, bonuses and employee benefits enrollment.

  • Developing job descriptions, posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.

  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring smooth assimilation into the organization.

  • Assisting in handling compensation & Benefits, Payroll and related matters.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of performance management systems including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees.

  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

  • Maintaining HR records, prepare HR reports and metrics, managing HR databases, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data.

  • Organizing and coordinating training programs, identifying training needs, and monitoring the effectiveness of training initiatives.

  • Handling employee grievances and complaints, conducting investigations, and maintaining positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.

  • Supporting the Group Head of Human Capital in overseeing HR operations and administrative tasks for subsidiary companies, particularly in the areas of community relations and union matters.


QUALIFICATION



  • Minimum of first Degree in any Humanities, Social Sciences, Business Administration or any

  • related discipline

  • Professional certification in Human resources from any of Chartered Institute of Personnel

  • Management (CIPM) Nigeria, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Chartered

  • Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) UK is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years cognate experience.
