Job Description



Responsibilities: 



  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests

  • Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records

  • Manages recruitment process, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.

  • Process payroll information to Finance for payment

  • Resolve payroll issues when detected

  • Develop Group Life Insurance document for onward processing to Finance

  • Liaise with HMO service provider towards ensuring quality service delivery is achieved

  • Liaise with other HR team to ensure all HR processes are properly executed and adhered 

  • Ensure all shutdown lists are correctly done and processed to BIRC for appropriate clearance

  • Work with the CLO to ensure all community-related issues are properly resolved.

  • Work with the Union to ensure all union-related issues are properly resolved. 

  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff.

  • Produce and submit weekly activity reports on general HR activities to the Contract Manager

  • Prepares schedules and coordinates Group Life and other insurances for all employees 

  • Manages project payroll process.

  • Support other assigned functions.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice

  • Any other responsibility as may be assigned to you by the Contract Manager and Group Head Human Capital and Admin


Requirements: 



  • HND/BSc in related discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years cognate experience

  • Professional certification is an advantage

  • Critical Thinking Skills

  • Numerical skills

  • IT skills

  • Effective organizational skills

  • Ability to form working relationships with people at all levels
