The Business Development Manager will pitch the company’s IT/Tech products as suitable solutions to prospective clients.
They will also be required to actively observe customer behavior and predict future needs for product upsell, and cross-sell other Products.
Responsibilities
Develop and plan actions to commercialize new products/services to penetrate new customers in order to stimulate sales.
Develop and execute strategies to identify and cultivate prospective customers.
Understand and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition, technology, process, and partnerships.
Discuss software needs with clients to determine the most suitable products.
Advise clients on technical matters regarding their software options.
Produce weekly and monthly sales engagement plans, outlining both ongoing and proposed activities, customer visits, revenue status, and revenue forecast.
Develop and expand sales channels and revenue.
Develop relationships with Executives and key decision-makers of targeted companies
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure client’s challenges and escalations are resolved in a timely manner
Through reporting and analytics, validate the quality of the lead and the pipeline data
and provide guidance to improve the overall data quality
Grow initiatives with existing platform partners.
Key Requirements
A degree in Marketing or a similar qualification.
At least, 5 years’ experience as sales personnel in the IT/Tech space (Compulsory).
Experience in complex software consultative sales
Ability to articulate and deliver solutions-based selling techniques
Demonstrate track record of sales achievements in value-based selling roles
