Your challenge

• Over the next five years, they will shape the further development of the delegation and provide important impulses for sustainable economic cooperation in the countries. As an important partner of German and Nigerian companies and institutions, the delegation is developing projects to effectively strengthen German-Nigerian economic relations.


• They represent the interests of the German economy. To do this, consolidate and expand the existing network on business, administration and political representatives in the countries and thus promote the respective economic relationships.


• They design and maintain close cooperation with the other AHK and delegation locations in Africa and worldwide, with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IHKs), the German trade associations, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) and the state institutions for German foreign trade promotion at the federal and state levels.


• They expand the range of services of the DEinternational brand and develop complementary, country-specific services as part of foreign trade promotion.

Your profile

• You have a university degree, ideally with a focus on economics and / or law.


• You have many years of relevant professional experience in German foreign trade promotion and in companies as well as in cooperation with public bodies in politics and business, associations and institutions, ideally in or with the chamber network.


• They have the necessary sensitivity when dealing with politics and administration.


• They have high intercultural competence and relevant leadership experience. Professional experience in or in connection with Nigeria is desirable.


• Very good English language skills are essential.


• You are an entrepreneurial thinking and dynamic personality. As a manager, you have a strong financial expertise and act flexibly and at the same time assertively.


• They bring creativity to the development of new, market-oriented services and are experienced in identifying new potential on the market.


• Convincing presentation, a safe appearance as well as a pronounced ability to communicate and cooperate round off your profile.
