RESPONSIBILITIES
Project management Support.
- Provide project management support to the project manager in developing project plans, monitoring progress, delivering action points, drafting terms of Reference, and other relevant documents and functions.
- Provide vital virtual and in-person administrative support to cross-functional teams, managing calendars, organizing workshops, scheduling and facilitating meetings, and handling correspondence, contributing to efficiency across the organization.
Technical Support
- Develop, lead, and implement a protection mainstreaming strategy across the WFP project and the organisation.
- Manage the incident management and referral process for reporting protection incidents.
- Oversee the implementation of the protection activities on time and within budget.
- Lead and implement initiatives centred on Accountability to the Affected Population, gender and protection mainstreaming and the integration of marginalized groups of women and girls and people living with disabilities in development, humanitarian, and peacebuilding endeavours, significantly fostering the advancement of gender equality within these sectors.
- Verify collected information on protection risks as well as availability and access to services through direct observation of the area

Reporting
- Report to the Project Manager any serious protection incident or immediate protection concern identified within target communities.
- Produce compelling presentations, training materials and progress reports, that effectively communicate complex information and ensure the dissemination of key insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder engagement and Representation.
- Develop and maintain a network of key contacts with relevant stakeholders, and other NGOs focused service providers in the area.
- Represent the organization at cluster meetings and other stakeholder engagements and contribute meaningfully to team me
Education and professional experience:
- University Degree in a related field (Social Sciences, Law is an asset).
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the protection sector.
- Previous working experience with IDPs, refugees and returnees.
- Strong knowledge of international protection in the humanitarian context.
