We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Officer. The Account Officer will be tasked with various accounting tasks, such as recording and reconciling financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and verifying the accuracy of invoices and payments.
The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records of operations and income.
Manage and maintain impress and other financial records
Calculate staff salary tax and pension deductions in compliance with relevant regulations.
Allocate costs appropriately to all dept, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and generate financial statements for management review and analysis.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for business decision-making.
Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and accounts receivable/payable.
Reconcile financial transactions, accounts, and discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and accruals.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, expense reports, and other financial transactions
Requirements
HND/BSC in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-3years working experience in transport management, HR Services, Real Estate with a focus on financial analysis and reporting is an added advantage
Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations and reporting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP
