  • Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Factory Manager to oversee their metal fabrication and steel design operations.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring efficient operations, understanding metal fabrication techniques, utilizing laser machines, planning production schedules, and effectively managing personnel.


Resounsiblities



  • Oversee and coordinate all production activities to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.

  • Ensure smooth operation of the factory, including maintenance of machinery and equipment.

  • Possess a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques to guide and improve production.

  • Operate and supervise the use of laser machines for cutting and engraving metal designs.

  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and project deadlines.

  • Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Lead, train, and supervise factory staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on production, operations, and other key performance indicators.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the metal fabrication industry.

  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.

  • Proficiency in operating laser cutting machines.

  • Excellent production planning and organizational skills.

  • Proven experience in managing factory operations and personnel.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
